taking up space

Raise your hand if you know the answer.
Raise your hand to be counted as present.
Raise your hand to say yes.
I am here, right here, standing in my power.
I am here answering all the questions ... sometimes with more questions ... but knowing that I am the one who has the answer.
I am here saying yes to me, to my beloved, to my life, to the wild wisdom within.
I am here calling forth the universe and releasing my magic into the world. receive and give. give and receive.

I've asked the question too many times.

What do I have to offer the world?

I know the answer but haven't trusted the answer.

What do I have to offer the world?

If I believe the answer that I know then I must believe in myself as worthy, brilliant, beautiful, capable, good, creative, whole, wise, and devoted.

What do I have to offer the world?

The answer is me.
Through the swirling ideas for journals and poems and paintings
Through the possibility of words and lessons and questions
Through the curiosity of creating masks and totems and containers
there is me.

I am the offering.

It scares the bejeezus out of me to say that aloud. All of the words punch right back at me. Who do I think I am? The words remind me to get off my high horse, to not get above my raising, to consider others as more worthy than I.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking ...

Here's the thing.

What I believe for myself, I also believe for you. What I live for myself is a reflection of how I want others to live. @@So, let's stop playing small. Let's own our light in the world.@@

Let's claim together that the most valuable thing we have to give to others, to the world is the essence of ourselves.

You'll notice a slight change here on my site. Slight but oh so important. I am now claiming myself as my home. Spirituncaged.com is now cynthia-lee.com. I am coming into focus and as I do, my words and offerings here will shift into alignment with me. I am allowing the pace to be what it is, basking in the warm glow of taking up space, being here.

This morning, let me tell you one thing.

You deserve to take up space in the world.

and let me ask you another.

What is one slight change you can make that will claim space for yourself?
